I’m thrilled to share that bestselling author and educator John Green will address Rice’s Class of 2026 at our undergraduate commencement this May. Through his writing and teaching, John has inspired millions of young people to think deeply, stay curious and care about the world around them. I’m looking forward to the perspective he will share with our graduates as they leave Rice and begin shaping what comes next — for themselves and for others.

Over 4,500 alumni and student donors participated in the challenge, unlocking $300,000 for Rice!

🌎 In total, over 6,4000 donors across the globe (including parents, faculty, staff and friends) made a gift and raised over $2,000,000 for Rice.
