Today's Career Tip is focused on Career Exploration! 🔭 It's no secret that choosing a career or pathway can sometimes be more stressful than fun - I mean, this is your future we're talking about! We recommend making intentional efforts to explore who you are as a person, your values, and what matters to you in a career to help guide you on your journey of career exploration. 🧭 One excellent way to get started is by joining our Career Exploration Workshop this Tuesday, Jan. 21st at 2PM on Zoom! There’s a new doctor in the house…a huge congratulations to Caitlin Deis, Ph.D. on the successful defense of her dissertation, “The influence of pre-health advising on the self-efficacy of Latina premed college students.”

The BCM Career Development team has had the privilege of witnessing firsthand Dr. Deis’ passion, expertise, advocacy and scholarship. Her endless reservoir of energy, excellence, innovation, heart and fun is a constant inspiration. She is an invaluable member of the team and our institution as a whole.

Our trainees are incredibly fortunate to have her in their corner.
