📚 Free books, community fun, and a chance to kick off summer reading! ☀️

Dr. Reeta Achari with Integrated Neurology, in partnership with the Texas Medical Association and Texas Neurologic Society is organizing the Texas BookShare event to help get more books into the hands of children before summer break begins. More than 500 books will be given away, including titles in English, Spanish/English bilingual, and Spanish.

Dr. Achari will also be at the event connecting with students and families in the community.

Now designated as a Recess Day

Previously scheduled holiday has been removed

Class of 2026: We are excited to welcome our high school seniors back to where they started their journey with HISD!
Join us this Friday May 22nd at 1:30pm! Seniors will have an opportunity to walk the halls of Stevens Elementary and to be celebrated for all their accomplishments.
Seniors, make sure to wear your cap and gown with your high school colors while we celebrate you!
