Join us Wednesday, August 26, from 6–7 PM in the Stevens cafeteria to connect with other families, hear what’s ahead for the year, share your ideas, and talk about how we can all support Stevens together.

A friendly reminder that there is no fee to be part of or support the Stevens PTCO. PTCO is a space for parents and families to come together, share ideas, lend a hand when they can, and work together to support our school. Every voice matters, and whatever time you’re able to give is valued and appreciated.

Whether you’ve been involved before or are just looking for a way to connect, everyone is welcome! Let’s make it a great year for our Stallions! 🐎💙💛

Welcome to Stevens! ✨🐴💙💛

Whether your family is brand new to Stevens or you’ve been part of our Stallion community for years, we’re so glad you’re here! As we kick off a new school year, we thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce the Stevens PTCO, share a little about who we are and what we do, and let you know how you can be part of it.

The Stevens PTCO exists to support our students, teachers, and campus while creating opportunities for families to connect and get involved. Throughout the year, we organize social events, coordinate volunteer opportunities, celebrate our students, teachers, and staff, and help support programs and projects that strengthen our school and help our teachers and students thrive.

With the support of our incredible Stevens community, we’ve helped bring the SPARK Park vision to life through a transformational campus improvement project that gives students an amazing place to learn, play, and explore. Last spring, our community also came together for a successful fundraiser that raised funds to support music and arts enrichment at Stevens, and we’re especially excited to see music growing on our campus this year with the addition of a music elective for our students! This fall, our Read-a-thon will encourage our Stallions to get excited about reading while also raising important funds to support our campus. Along the way, our fundraisers and family events have also helped provide support for classroom needs, campus initiatives, teacher support, and student programs while creating meaningful opportunities for our school community to come together.

The Stevens PTCO is made up of parents, teachers, and community members who all share one goal: supporting our students, teachers and school. There is no fee to join, and whether you volunteer for an event, attend a meeting, share ideas, or simply stay informed, every level of involvement makes a difference.

We’d love for you to join us at our first PTCO General Meeting of the school year on Wednesday, August 26, at 6:00 p.m. in the Stevens cafeteria. It’s a great opportunity to meet other Stevens families, learn more about the PTCO, and discover ways to get involved in a way that fits your schedule. Everyone is welcome, and we hope to see you there!

For a safe and smooth start, parents/guardians will not be able to walk students to class. Stevens staff will be ready to welcome and assist students to their grade-level locations.

As we prepare for a great school year, please take a moment to review our daily arrival, attendance, early pick-up, and dismissal times. Being on time helps our students start their day successfully and protects valuable instructional time!
🚨 Important Reminder: Early student pick-up ends at 2:30 PM...no exceptions, as our staff and students are preparing for dismissal.

To help ensure a safe and smooth dismissal process, all families must have a Stevens Dismissal Card to pick up their student beginning on the first day of school.
📍 Dismissal cards will be available for pick up:
✅ Meet the Teacher – Thursday, August 6 | 4:30–6:00 PM
✅ Friday, August 7 | 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
✅ Monday, August 10 (First Day of School) | 9:00 AM–1:30 PM
⚠️ Please note: Dismissal cards will not be distributed during student drop-off on the first day of school. We encourage all families to pick up their cards before the first day to help us ensure a safe and efficient dismissal for all students.

If your child was enrolled in HISD during the 2025–2026 school year and will be returning for the
2026–2027 school year, please complete the Annual Student Update (ASU).

How to Complete the ASU:

Visit the HISD Enrollment webpage.
Select the “Current Student” pathway.
Complete the Annual Student Update.

Why is this important?

Completing the ASU helps ensure:
✅ Student, parent/guardian, and emergency contact information is up to date.
✅ Required annual district forms are completed.
✅ Students are ready for schedules, transportation, and campus communications.

Please Note: After school begins, families will need to log back in to complete the Socio-Economic Form (Blue Forms).
