GTEF Holds 3rd Annual "No Nonsense" MeetingThe Greater Texas Education Foundation held its 3rd "No Nonsense" meeting in the heart of New Orleans the weekend of October 20. 100 DPMS and residents stormed the French Quarter and enjoyed a fun meeting with a private party sponsored by BAKO at Acme Oyster Bar, theme breaks with beignets & bloody Marys, casual networking, and "no nonsense" lectures from national speakers.

"This is the best meeting we have attended in the past 3 years. We appreciate the direct access to the speakers and fun atmosphere," said a DPM attendee from Florida. AAPPM provided practice management talks. The meeting was also a fundraiser for the West Houston and Kingwood Podiatric Residency Programs directed by Dr. Sam Mendicino. The 2013 "No-Nonsense" Meeting will be held in October in Key West, FL.
