Looking for a great preschool that honors the ideas of all children….come and hear about Blossom Heights. We are hoping to transition to a kinder and grades program starting in the fall of 2025.

We discovered feathers scattered across the playground! They came in different colors and sizes. This curious sight sparked our imaginations— could a bird have visited us?
Together, we wondered where these feathers had come from and decided to explore the world of birds by reading books. We documented our research along the way.
One day, when we brought a nest, Lulu asked, “Where is the baby bird?” Days later, she connected it to her own family! She said, “Where is the baby? He is gone.
Where’s Daddy? Where is Mommy?” From our exploration of the nest, we noticed that she began to wonder about more family members. While playing at the sensory table, she started looking for animals of the same species to pair as families, searching for a mother for a monkey and a father for a giraffe.
As we continued our journey, we collected different materials to create our own nests. First, we used regular glue, sticking pieces together carefully, just like the birds do. As we grew more skilled, we tried using a glue gun to build a different type of nest.
Our adventure with feathers, nests, and birds led us to explore not only the world of animals but also the concept of family. Through this project, we are also learning about glue and its different forms.

Gift bags filled with personalized cards and child art for each classroom, an additional goodie bag for all staff and a catered mexican food lunch! An extra big thank you to all families who helped us feel so loved and appreciated this week!

Feeling extra appreciated during this Blossom Heights Teacher Appreciation week. Breakfast buffet, customized goodie bags and lunch break massages - and the week isn’t even over yet! Thank you so much to our families who donated and organized to make this happen!

Our school garden is in full bloom, lots of vegetables ripening this week after all that rain!
