The New Day School

Let’s give it up for our future teachers! 🥰

These guys had a blast leading our classes through Library, Music, Creative Movement, Art, and PE Coach for the day! Thank you parents for all the creative ways you gave towards our magical little school. These are core memories they will carry with them forever!

Also worth noting we would hire each of them in a heartbeat! 💗 Please tell them to reach directly out to Ms. Emily when they are ready 😅.

We had the best day with our Principal for the Day, Ms. Abigail!☀️

She got her badge and walkie, did morning carpool, handed out donuts for breakfast, threw a glow party, provided a pizza lunch, took a nap with our school mascot, did preschool observations, a bubble party, and got to pick out toys for the treasure boxes!🍩💃🍕🦁⭐️🫧🪎

Is there anything more fun than that? We loved having her shower the day with fun memories!

Our students worked incredibly hard this week on their Stanford testing—and they did it! We are so proud of their focus, perseverance, and growth.

At The New Day School, we believe testing shouldn’t be a stressful or negative experience. We intentionally create an environment where students can do their best by breaking testing into shorter blocks, allowing as much time as each child needs, incorporating movement breaks, recess, fidget tools, and plenty of encouragement along the way.

A huge thank you to our amazing parents for the daily encouraging notes, snacks, and treats—you helped make this week extra special and uplifting for our students!
