GREAT NEWS! Just Add Beats has been selected for the Close The Gap program, a collaboration between Impact Hub and adidas! Impact Hub and adidas have partnered to support impact-oriented entrepreneurs who are from and/or work with underrepresented communities and are addressing challenges in education and sport. For the next three months, we're receiving expert advice and coaching from adidas employees, visibility for Just Add Beats among the Impact Hub and adidas networks, and a free Global Connect Membership and access to the Impact Hub Network! This is really going to help JAB amplify its impact and create more real-world opportunities for our students, the next generation of collaborative and resilient creatives. How do we prepare kids from a young age for their roles in designing the future? How can we promote media literacy, entrepreneurship, and leveraging new technology to tell our stories, make our voices heard, and make the world a better place? Let’s make audio!
Tools for recording and distributing professional quality audio are more affordable and accessible than ever, which means kids don’t have to wait until they’re adults to get hands-on experience. With the right tools and curriculum, schools and other learning centers have the opportunity to foster students’ creative musical thoughts, stories, and inventions in an audio maker space.
