Students from ENG 3354: Introduction to Film Studies learned so much about film archives, useful cinema, and The Texas Heart Institute Film Collection during our trip to the McGovern Historical Center today 🫀🎞️🫀🎞️!

Many thanks to all who came out and watched the slow the sunset and then attuned themselves to A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (Dir. Wes Craven, 1984) on UHD’s North Deck as the blow up screen weirdly came alive in the slight breeze, wavering and skin-like! Such a hilarious audience — quietly and nervously gazing, shouting out when a jump scare or gore took us by surprise, and laughing at Nancy’s mother’s vodka bottle! Year 14 is a wrap!
