🎉 We Have So Much to Celebrate! 🎉
Today, TEA officially released school ratings, and we are incredibly proud to share that our school earned a 97 out of 100—for the SECOND year in a row! 🌟👏
And there’s even more to celebrate—we earned 6 out of 6 Distinction Designations from TEA! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
This outstanding achievement is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our entire school community. Behind that 97 and those 6 Distinctions are countless hours of planning, teaching, learning, encouraging, collaborating, and believing in every student.

Three important reminders for our community as we are getting closed Wednesday, August 12!
08/09/2026
Dear Parents,
As we get ready for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 12, please review the Drop-Off and Dismissal maps carefully. Following the designated traffic patterns will help us provide a safe and efficient experience for all students, families, and staff.
Morning Drop-Off
Grades 6–7
Please use the Barker Cypress Road entrances.
First Barker Cypress Gate: Enter through the first gate and stop by the middle school cafeteria door to drop off the students. Follow the designated route and exit onto West Little York Road by driving behind the school building.
Second Barker Cypress Gate: Enter through the second gate, follow the designated traffic loop, and exit back onto Barker Cypress Road.
If you enter through the West Little York entrance (the Grades 8–12 drop-off line), Grades 6–7 students must walk along the building through the school parking lot and enter the middle school cafeteria using the designated entrance.
Grades 8–12
Please enter through the West Little York entrance.
Follow the traffic pattern shown on the map and exit through the West Little York exit gate.
Afternoon Dismissal
Walkers
Only students with an approved Walker Pass may leave campus on foot. These students must exit through the designated Walkers Door.
Grades 8–12 Pick-Up
Enter through the West Little York entrance.
Follow the designated pick-up route shown on the map.
Exit through the West Little York gate.
Grades 6–7 Pick-Up
Please note: Students with no siblings will be dismissed at the gym back door as they were in previous years.
Enter through the first Barker Cypress gate.
Drive behind the school to the back gym door.
Have your car tag clearly displayed in your window before reaching the pick-up area. Staff will enter your number into the HOP system, so your student can be called to the designated pick-up location.
Families Picking Up Siblings
Please use the second Barker Cypress gate.
Pick up your students in the designated sibling pick-up area.
Follow the traffic loop and exit back onto Barker Cypress Road.
Important Reminder
Please do not stop, park, pick up, or drop off in any areas marked No Pick-Up/Drop-Off on the maps.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation. By following these procedures, we can ensure a safe, smooth, and efficient arrival and dismissal process for all of our students.
We look forward to welcoming everyone on Wednesday, August 12!
