ANNOUNCEMENT - THÔNG BÁO

Dear friends,

We would like to sincerely thank you for your continued interest and support of the Retreat of Awakening over the past years. We would like to inform you that the 2026 RETREAT OF AWAKENING will be held this year from September 17 to 20 in Denver, Colorado at the Compassionate Dharma Cloud Monastery. However, the retreat will focus on staff development and mindfulness practice so that we can continue to strengthen the foundation of the program and better serve you in the future.

If you are interested in becoming a retreat staff member in the future and would like to attend the 2026 Staff Retreat Edition, please contact us at [email protected]. We will send you an invitation.

We will reserve Sunday, September 20 for anyone, not just staff members, who would like to join us in practice. We will have registration open for this day in the near future.

We truly appreciate your understanding and your ongoing support. We look forward to welcoming you back to future retreats in the years ahead.

Chúng tôi cũng sẽ dành riêng ngày Chủ Nhật, 20 tháng 9, cho tất cả những ai (không chỉ riêng thành phần ban tổ chức) muốn cùng tham dự và thực tập. Chúng tôi sẽ sớm mở phiếu ghi danh cho ngày thực tập này trong thời gian sắp tới.

Georgia Buddhist Camp is offering a Virtual Buddhist Chaplain Service, providing one-on-one spiritual support grounded in mindfulness, loving-kindness, and compassionate listening.

These private sessions offer a supportive space to talk through life transitions, grief, or personal challenges, while exploring ways to cultivate inner peace and resilience. Sessions are open to both new and experienced practitioners.

As part of this pilot program, appointments are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. After registering, participants can select an available time slot and will receive a confirmation email with a private Doxy.me session link.

This service is free of charge, with donations welcomed to support chaplains and scholarships for female monastics and practitioners in chaplaincy training.

Chúng ta vô cùng đau buồn trước trận lũ lụt tàn khốc vừa qua tại Kerr County, Texas. Như một phần trong chương trình “Lan Tỏa Tình Thương”, Trại Tỉnh Thức 2025 đang phối hợp cùng Từ Bi Foundation – do Trung Tâm Phật Giáo Việt Nam (Chùa Việt Nam, Sugar Land, Texas) điều hành – trong nỗ lực gây quỹ rộng khắp cộng đồng nhằm hỗ trợ các nạn nhân bị ảnh hưởng. Toàn bộ số tiền quyên góp sẽ được dùng cho các nỗ lực cứu trợ.

TOÀN BỘ lợi nhuận từ việc bán áo online trong tháng 8 và tại Trại Tỉnh Thức 2025 (từ ngày 8 đến 11 tháng 8) sẽ được chuyển đến Từ Bi Foundation để xử lý và phân phối.

Sự đóng góp và ủng hộ của quý vị sẽ giúp lan tỏa tình thương trong khi chúng ta tiếp tục dốc tâm cầu nguyện cho các nạn nhân.

We are deeply saddened by the devastating flooding that recently struck Kerr County, Texas. As part of our “Operation Kindness” efforts, the Retreat of Awakening is collaborating with Tu Bi Foundation, headed by Vietnamese Buddhist Center – Chùa Việt Nam (Houston, Texas) in the community-wide fundraising effort to support those affected. All donations will go towards emergency relief, temporary shelter, food, clothing, and long-term rebuilding efforts.

The Retreat of Awakening will open our online t-shirt store. ALL proceeds collected from our online t-shirt sales and at our 2025 annual retreat (Aug 8-11) will be passed to Từ Bi Foundation for processing and distribution.

Your donations and support will help spread kindness as we continue to keep those affected by the floods in our thoughts and prayers.
