This week at The Little Learning Place, our children have been exploring the world around them through sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch!

Our Five Senses activities included interactive touch-and-feel experiences, sensory games, a Five Senses walk, creative art activities, and even making our own soft and fluffy cloud dough!

These hands-on experiences are more than just fun. Sensory play helps children build vocabulary, strengthen fine motor skills, develop curiosity, make connections, and better understand the world around them.

We love creating opportunities where children can touch, explore, experiment, and learn through play. 💛

This week, our children are learning all about the human body, its different parts, and how they work together to keep us healthy and strong!

To bring their learning to life, we transformed part of the classroom into a Doctor’s Office, where our little doctors can use their imaginations, care for their patients, and help them feel better. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️🩺

We’ve also incorporated hands on sensory and learning activities throughout the week, including:

🩺 Pretend Doctor’s Office
🦴 Bones Alphabet Letter Sorting
🙌 Body Parts Sensory Bin Sorting
🧩 Body Parts Puzzles
🐻 Sick Bear Color Sorting

Through imaginative play, sensory exploration, sorting, puzzles, and hands on activities, the children are learning about their bodies while building important skills in language, literacy, problem solving, fine motor development, and social emotional learning.
