Congratulations to the Class of 2026. A class that has left its mark across campus and is now ready to leave its mark on the world!
From Houston to every corner of the globe, the Class of 2026 carries with it the languages, the friendships, the curiosity, and the courage that define an Awty education. We could not be more proud.
A special thank you to Mr. James T. Hackett for his inspiring keynote address to our graduates and the entire Awty community. Your words will stay with this class long after they crossed the stage.
To our graduates: you arrived as students. You leave as global citizens. The world is waiting, go show them what Rams are made of.
Congratulations to the families, and a heartfelt thank you to our incredible faculty and staff who guided this class every step of the way.

Go Rams!
As they complete their Primary School journey, our Grade 5 students took part in the Exhibition — a culminating inquiry that brought together research, reflection, collaboration, and action.
Students selected a Sustainable Development Goal they felt passionate about, explored what is being done around the world, and developed meaningful action plans connected to real-world issues. Throughout the process, they used transdisciplinary knowledge and skills to inquire, think critically, communicate their ideas, and work collaboratively.
Students presented their learning to the school community, shared their reflections, and confidently answered questions from visitors. The Exhibition was a meaningful celebration of student agency, inquiry, and action as our learners prepared for the next stage of their educational journey.

Every year, a small group of students takes on a quiet but meaningful responsibility — to document life at Awty. Unhurried mornings, candid hallway moments, the energy of a performance, the curiosity of students discovering something new, together.
This year's yearbook editorial team did exactly that, and so much more.
A team of nearly 40 students are the primary artists and editors, allowing them to gain proficiency in a variety of mediums. They are the photographers, digital layout designers, and journalists working to build everything from scratch, under the guidance of Ms. Wood.
They traveled between campuses to interview, photograph, and capture every corner of our community, from the main campus to the Lower School and ELC.
They worked in stages, meeting deadlines throughout the year where even a single missed day could delay the final book by weeks. And they did it all while maintaining one unified vision, one consistent voice, one book that holds Awty whole.
And when it was all done, they handed our community a book that holds this year the way only Awty can.
To the editors and Ms. Wood, whose dedication and leadership made this possible. To the Class of 2026, celebrating your final chapter at Awty. And to our entire community — these are your 2025–26 memories, kept forever, in a book that glows in the dark.

A morning of restoration and peace to give back to our Awty volunteers, who give so much energy to our community.
As we practiced synchronized breathwork and found stillness in sound baths, we took a moment to reflect on the school year. The endless hours, teamwork, and dedication our volunteers provide are what make Awty such a special place. By leading with our values of community and kindness, you make a lasting impact on us all.
To our incredible volunteers, we thank you.

Our Awty Chess Team shined at the T.H. Rogers Chess Tournament. With 39 students representing grades 1 through 7, it was our largest showing to date! In a field of 500 participants, our Rams stayed sharp and earned the 5th-place Middle School team trophy.
We are so proud of the sportsmanship and dedication shown by every student. Congratulations on a fantastic tournament!

Maraam S. has made history as the first Awty student to earn a spot on the Meta4 Houston Poetry Slam Team — one of only 6 students selected citywide to represent Houston at the upcoming Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Slam.
After winning 5 out of 7 high school slams and advancing through the citywide semifinals and Grand Slam Finals, Maraam will represent Houston on an international stage in 2026 alongside a team that has won the championship two years running.
When she looked up from the stage at the Finals, she found Ms. Mouton, Ms. Cullinane, and Mr. Burton cheering from the audience — giving her all the strength she needed to shine.
Congratulations Maraam, and thank you to our incredible Awty faculty for championing the voices of our Rams!
