UHD Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society Promote a closer bond among social work students by engaging in our community, promoting social justice and providing professional enrichment opportunities

We are a professional honors society for Social Work students at the University of Houston-Downtown. By organizing volunteer opportunities, supporting local causes and hosting professional development opportunities we hope to engage UHD social work students in their school and city communities and provide opportunities for all of us to bond while furthering the cause of social justice. Dear Phi Alpha Members,

I hope all is well. For some, graduation is right around the corner. Congratulations on all your hard work! If you will be graduating in May 2016 or completing your degree in August of 2016, this email is of particular importance to you!

For those of you that are NASW members, you will be honored for your membership with a graduation cord. If you are a member of NASW, please send me your name so I can pass a list of NASW members onto Professor Goins. Please do so by Thursday, April 7, 2016, so I can compose a list for ordering cords. It is important that you respond to this email so we can get your cord ordered!
