Although you will need to USE a ton of formulas on the tests, it's usually NOT a good idea to remember every single one. As one math teacher says: "That way lies disaster." The BEST strategy is to memorize only a few formulas and then figure out the others when you need them. This website is about helping you do just that.

Hey!! There is SI tonight from 7-10 in Room 1211. We will go over almost everything that will be on the test. If you come, then you'll have the rest of the week to practice the exam's material. There won't be another session until Monday of next week, which is very late! Try me out if you can!

See you,

Memorize the two special triangles: the 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 ones. You will need them all semester. Here are some facts that can help you in your memorization.

• Both triangles have a square-root number (an irrational number).
• Both triangles have the number 2 somewhere on their hypotenuses.
• Each triangle has at least one number "1" somewhere on it.

Additional tricks can be found on the "Notes" tab.
