Rice’s Vietnamese Student Association is calling for volunteers for their annual College Leadership Workshop! The workshop is meant to help high school students in the Greater Houston Area during the busy time of college applications. But in order to make it happen, they need your help! We are looking for volunteers for the event, and there are multiple ways to get involved: giving presentations about things like extracurriculars and essays, answering parent and student questions about the college application process, and more! Are you a high school student in the Greater Houston Area gearing up for the exciting journey of college applications? Rice’s Vietnamese Student Association is thrilled to invite you to participate in our annual College Leadership Workshop (CLW) designed especially for YOU!

This is a special opportunity to participate in a one-day program that will include informative, engaging workshops featuring students and guest speakers covering the subjects of college admissions, financial aid, college application essays, extracurricular activities, and leadership. Parent participants, if they choose to join us, will be able to attend some student workshops, as well as parent workshops made with resources specifically for parents.

📆 This year's CLW will take place on Saturday, October 14th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Check-in and breakfast begin at 8:00 AM and will end at 9:00 AM.

We had so much fun getting to know some of our VSA alumni at tonight's Meet n' Greet event, in which we had that chance to discuss life after Rice and talk about fun VSA traditions that have come and gone! Can't wait for our next social with such an incredible network of people!

Studio Ghibli Movie Night with VSA in the Lovett Quad!!

Rice VSA stands in solidarity with the Black community at Rice and beyond. Thus, we have decided to donate $200 to Restoring Justice, a Harris County Bail Fund. We challenge other Rice organizations and Texas VSA chapters to donate to similar organizations in their own community. (Please see the image for our full message)
