This is an important update for staff and students at Briscoe ES from Principal Carlos Rodriguez.
I am pleased to announce that our school has power. Our cooling systems have been tested, and at this time, we are ready to serve students on Tuesday, May 21st. Classes will resume at our campus as normal on Tuesday at 7:30 AM. Food service will be available and transportation services will be provided as usual.

A relaxed dress code is allowed for students as some households still do not have power or water.

Me complace anunciar que nuestra escuela tiene energía. Nuestros sistemas de enfriamiento han sido probados y en este momento estamos listos para atender a los estudiantes el martes 21 de mayo. Las clases se reanudarán en nuestro campus con normalidad el martes a las 7:30 a.m. El servicio de comida estará disponible y los servicios de transporte se brindarán como de costumbre.

Se permite un código de vestimenta relajado para los estudiantes ya que algunos hogares aún no tienen electricidad ni agua.

This is an important update for staff and students at Briscoe Elementary. Our campus will cancel classes on Monday. The campus does not have power and the cooling systems are not yet fully operational. We have been working closely with CenterPoint to get power restored, but they do not know exactly when the powers will be restored. Once power is restored, we will immediately inspect cooling systems and prepare nutrition services to feed students. We intend to return students to class as quickly as possible.

Esta es una actualización importante para el personal y los estudiantes de la Primaria Briscoe. Nuestro campus cancelará clases el lunes. El campus no tiene electricidad y los sistemas de refrigeración aún no están en pleno funcionamiento. Hemos estado trabajando estrechamente con CenterPoint para restablecer la energía, pero no saben exactamente cuándo se restablecerá. Una vez que se restablezca la energía, inspeccionaremos inmediatamente los sistemas de enfriamiento y prepararemos servicios de nutrición para alimentar a los estudiantes. Tenemos la intención de que los estudiantes regresen a clases lo más rápido posible.
