(Printing and other out of pocket expenses are billed separately.) If it relates to water and water conservation, chances are we’ve already written about it, or created a program about it, or developed an education program focusing on it. If you stop to think about it, your customers/constituents make up a critical target audience with whom you must communicate -- and it is unlikely that they have read or had access to information programs we developed in other parts of the region. If you can save money...but get the same communications impact... by taking advantage of generic publications instead of creating your own from scratch...why wouldn’t you? Kids really are our future...and if they learn good water use habits and stewardship of our natural resources today, they can play a positive role in securing and sustaining adequate water supplies when they’re adults. Our experienced educators have developed exciting and informative programs for students in grades 2 through 6. Our programs include student ‘novels’, age appropriate coloring and activity books, audio/video resources (DVDs and interactive CDs), teacher workshops, classroom projects, and “Edu-tainment” events. This photo was taken by Russell Lee and, while I've tried forever to describe what makes his photos so powerful, I think it's partly that there's a hopeful element even if the subject isn't in the best of circumstances. This woman, for example, looks strong and determined.

2nd & 4th Grade Assembly Edu-Tainer Frontier Settler

I take pride in being a jack of all trades. There’s a lot of work to do on the farm, so I try to learn as much as I can to help my family prosper. I especially love learning about science and topics like natural resources, simple machines, and agriculture. I try to focus on things to better our everyday life. Yesterday, I helped my mom tend to the crops. It sounds easy enough, but carrying water from the river is pretty heavy and time consuming. After a few hundred trips you’ll surely be ready to throw in the towel. I also spent some time with my uncle Howie; he’s teaching me the ins and outs of blacksmithing. We’ll have to forge tools like axes, hammers, and chisels for building our homestead and new community. There’s much to do around here. I’d better get to work!
