This week we took a momentous next step. Carlo Catholic submitted a Letter of Intent to purchase 53 acres of land โ€” and the landowner ๐ก๐š๐ฌ ๐š๐œ๐œ๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐!

Two years ago, this was a conversation in a parish hall. Today there is real ground, and a landowner who has said yes. Much work remains between this good news and the first shovel in the ground, so please keep praying. An accepted LOI is a beginning, not a finish line.

Last week, our Assistant Principals gathered at the St. Dominic Chancery for a meeting with the Catholic Schools Office (CSO). It was a wonderful opportunity to receive new information, updates, and guidance as we prepare to welcome our students back for the start of a new school year.

Today marked the beginning of an extraordinary chapter for St. Peter Catholic Career & Technical High School!

This year is unlike any other because, for the first time in our school's history, we welcome our very first Senior class - as we have been calling them for the last few years - our "Founding Graduates". In May 2027, these remarkable students will become the first graduates of St. Peter Catholic, making history and leaving a legacy that will inspire generations to come.

As a school named for St. Peter, this milestone carries even greater meaning. Just as St. Peter took a leap of faith when Christ called him beyond the safety of the boat (Matthew 14:29), our Founding Graduates and their families took a leap of faith four years ago by placing their trust in a brand-new Catholic high school with a bold vision for the future. Their courage to answer that call has helped make this moment possible.

To our Founding Graduates and your families: - thank you. Thank you for believing in our mission before there were traditions, graduates, or history books to tell our story. Because of your trust, dedication, and perseverance, you have helped build St. Peter Catholic into the thriving community it is today.

You have helped shape our traditions, strengthen our culture, and define what it means to be a Guardian. We are honored to walk alongside you during this historic final year and cannot wait to celebrate with you as you become the first graduating class of St. Peter Catholic in May 2027.
