The Spotlight Piano School provides award-winning piano instructions in greater Houston areas.

Fostering Excellence Since 2009, we strive to encourage creativity and passion for music in students of all ages through world-class musical training. The Spotlight Piano School offers private piano lessons for students ages 5 and above. Our faculty of highly accomplished musicians offer bespoke lessons to meet the unique needs of both young pianists and adult learners of all skill levels. With co

nvenient studio locations in Houston, Clear Lake and League City, we are easily accessible to aspiring pianists in neighboring areas such as Friendswood, Sugarland, Pearland, Pasadena, Galveston and more.

🎹 Please join us in welcoming Yuelu Cui to the piano faculty at Spotlight Piano School!

Ms. Cui is a solo and collaborative pianist and a dedicated music educator with extensive teaching and performance experience. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Texas at El Paso and is currently completing her Doctor of Arts degree in Piano Performance, with a cognate in Collaborative Piano, at the University of Northern Colorado. She expects to receive her doctoral degree in October 2026.

Ms. Cui has performed throughout the United States and internationally in Italy, the United Kingdom, and France. She has taught students of various ages and levels through private instruction, university teaching assistantships, and international music festivals. Her teaching emphasizes strong technical foundations, musical expression, confidence, and a genuine enjoyment of music.

We are delighted to welcome Ms. Cui to our growing faculty! She will be teaching on Wednesdays and is now accepting new students.

Music has the power to bring generations together. ❤️🎹

On Sunday, August 30, Spotlight Piano School students will share an afternoon of music with the residents of Crossings Retirement Community as part of our Volunteer Recital Series.

The program will feature music by Bach, Clementi, Beethoven, Kuhlau, Chopin, Mozart, Daquin, and Rachmaninoff. We are proud of our students for using their musical talents to bring joy to others and connect with our community.

🎉 We’re grateful that our brand new main campus on Nassau Bay Dr. is already fully booked for weekday afternoons and evenings!

We are currently offering a small number of weekend lesson openings, and we are also forming a League City waitlist for additional Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon spots. In addition, we are gathering interest for a possible future Friendswood location!

🎉 An Exciting New Chapter for Spotlight Piano School!

I am thrilled to share that Spotlight Piano School has officially signed the lease for our new Main Campus!

Beginning this September, our new campus will serve as the home of Spotlight Piano School, providing a beautiful and professional environment for private lessons, group classes, student performances, and future music programs.
