Galena Park ISD mantiene su compromiso de apoyar a los niños de nuestra comunidad ofreciendo comidas gratuitas durante el verano. A través de la Opción de Alimentos de Verano sin Interrupción del Departamento de Agricultura de Texas, el distrito volverá a proporcionar desayunos y almuerzos gratuitos a todos los niños de 18 años de edad y menores durante el verano de 2026.

El programa se llevará a cabo desde el 26 de mayo hasta el 2 de julio de 2026, con el horario de servicio variable por escuela. No es necesario registrarse; los niños simplemente pueden ir a la escuela participante durante las horas de servicio. Por favor, tenga en cuenta que las regulaciones exigen que las comidas se consuman en el sitio de alimentación.

Galena Park ISD has remained committed to supporting children in our community by offering free summer meals. Through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Seamless Summer Option, the district will once again provide free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years of age and younger during summer 2026.

The program will run from May 26 through July 2, 2026, with serving times varying by campus. No registration is required—children may simply visit a participating school site during serving hours. Please note that program guidelines require meals to be consumed on campus.
