As we prepare to close the 2025–2026 Sorority Year, our hearts are full and overflowing with gratitude. 🫶🏾

The Gamma Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. showed up BOUNDLESSLY! From impactful community service projects and purpose-driven programs, to productive chapter meetings and those meaningful moments where we simply paused to check in on one another, this year reminded us of the true power of sisterhood. Every effort, every laugh, every hand extended in service strengthened our bond and reaffirmed our commitment to GREATER SERVICE, GREATER PROGRESS. 🐩

We ended this incredible year in the most phenomenal way, by hosting the Swim 1922 National Programs Event at Gigglin Marlin Dive and Swim1922 Swim Clinic in Houston. What a powerful and meaningful way to end the year: centered on service, safety, impact, and legacy. 🏊🏽‍♀️

To every Soror who poured her time, talent, and treasure into this year, we thank you. To our community partners and supporters, we thank you. Gamma Sigma will continue to be a chapter rooted in love, excellence, and intentional sisterhood. 💛💙

🌟 Sigma Sunday Scripture 🌟

Philippians 4:6–7 provides a powerful antidote to worry. The verses instruct believers not to be anxious about anything, but instead to present every concern to God through prayer and petition. When done with a spirit of thanksgiving, God promises to replace anxiety with a profound, supernatural inner peace.

As you begin each day, remember no stress or worry. Regardless of the situation, everything will work out. We are too blessed to be stressed, have an awesome week! 💙💛🙏🏾

Our very own SoRHOr Dr. Tamira Pierson participated in the 2026 State Summer Games by Special Olympics Georgia held in Atlanta at Emory University from May 22 to May 24. The event featured over 2,000 athletes, coaches, and Unified Partners competing in athletics, swimming, gymnastics, flag football, soccer, table tennis, tennis, cheerleading, and volleyball. 💙💛
