🚨 50 YEARS. ENJOY PRISON.

Joseph Sifuentes shot and seriously injured an off-duty police officer in San Marcos in 2023.

Now, this dirt bag is headed to prison for 50 YEARS.

And the officer wasn’t his only victim. Evidence presented at sentencing showed a disturbing pattern of violent behavior, including pulling a gun on a married couple at a restaurant and fleeing an intoxicated crash that injured multiple people.

Actions have consequences.

You shoot a police officer. You terrorize innocent people. You repeatedly prove you’re a danger to the public.

Houston police are investigating a possible homicide after a person was found dead inside an overturned trash can at an apartment complex on Anita Street in Houston's Third Ward.

Two people were questioned as persons of interest. No suspects have been identified, and the cause of death remains unknown.

A man in his early 30s was shot three times after Houston police said he grabbed a knife inside the emergency room at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital on Saturday night.

The man arrived at the hospital around 6 p.m. seeking help after saying he was suicidal. Officers said security personnel tried to restrain him and deployed three Tasers before a security sergeant fired his weapon when the man grabbed the knife again.

He was treated by medical staff and expected to be transferred to another hospital for additional care. HPD is investigating.
