We have our first fundraiser coming up on September 1, 2026! 🎉🧡💙

Slice the Price Card:

With the card, every time you purchase a large pizza at Domino’s, you will receive another large pizza FREE!

The cost of the card is just $20, and our school profits $10 for every card sold!

Use the card as many times as you would like until the card expires 06/30/2027!

Cards will be sold from 09/01/2026-09/16/2026

When a customer buys a card through your online store, it will be shipped directly to them! If they purchase one card, the shipping fee is only .99 cents.

Every student that participates will receive a free prize!

🏆 Dean's List Scholar of the Week: Mrs. Laughery 🏆

Mrs. Laughery has done an outstanding job stepping into her new role as our PASS/Best Teacher. She has embraced every challenge with positivity, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to supporting our students and staff. Her willingness to learn, lead, and grow in this new position has been inspiring to watch.

Beyond her daily responsibilities, Mrs. Laughery is an incredible mentor to her teammates. She consistently shares her knowledge, offers encouragement, and helps create a culture of trust and support. Her collaborative spirit shines as we work together to develop meaningful supports for our wonderful students.

Mrs. Laughery's dedication, teamwork, and student-centered mindset make her a tremendous asset to the Carpenter family. We are grateful for her leadership, her heart for students, and the positive impact she makes every day.

It’s also Yearbook Picture Day, so dress picture-ready and bring your maroon with you! A maroon headband, bow, socks, or any other accessory works perfectly.

THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM DEER PARK ISD:

School resumes tomorrow, Sept. 2, for all students and employees.

With the storm having little impact on our area, we look forward to seeing our students return to their school routines!

The good news is that, because of bad weather days built into our district calendar, students will not have to make up yesterday’s missed instructional day.

Also, don’t forget that Border Battle Spirit Week continues tomorrow with “Send the Bulldogs Back to the Millennium” day (Dress like it’s Y2K)!

THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM DEER PARK ISD:

School and all related activities are canceled for today, Sept. 1, for all Deer Park ISD campuses.

DPISD employees should not report for duty with the exception of a small group of maintenance employees, who will be contacted directly by their supervisor.

The District participated in a conference call with county emergency officials regarding what is now called Tropical Storm Edouard.

Emergency officials stated that the storm worsened overnight, potentially affecting our area with significant rain and flooding.

Please stay safe during this weather event, and we encourage you to monitor weather conditions throughout the day.

🌧️ RAINY DAY DISMISSAL REMINDER 🌧️

We will be monitoring the weather closely throughout the day, especially as we approach dismissal time. With the possibility of rain tomorrow, please take a few minutes to talk with your student about your rainy-day dismissal plan.

📲 If heavy rain or lightning impacts dismissal, parents will receive a message through ParentSquare letting you know that we are activating our rainy-day dismissal protocol.

As part of our safety protocol:

☔ All walkers will be held during heavy rain or lightning for their safety.

🚖Make sure to have your orange security car tag

Thank you for helping us keep our Cats safe! Please make sure you have a plan in place in case dismissal procedures need to change.
