Today’s Madonna Day Mass and Crowning of Mary brought the Class of 2026 together in a spirit of reverence, gratitude, and sisterhood. ✨

As part of this cherished tradition, students participated in the Crowning of Mary and celebrated the Eucharist, marking a meaningful moment in their final year at St. Agnes. Reflections were shared by Principal Carleen Raymond '00 and Salutatorian Elisa Feng, highlighting the journey and legacy of the Class of 2026.

The Class Scholarship was formally presented and signed by Lauren Atkins & Jessica Okeke, followed by a heartfelt senior video and the class song—offering a beautiful tribute to all they have experienced together and all that lies ahead.

With heavy hearts, we are saddened to announce the passing of Harold Burris. Harold came to St. Agnes Academy in 1983 and taught math and science, primarily Physics, for 34 years. He was a teacher, mentor and friend to many within our community and leaves behind a tremendous legacy.

Harold shared not only his knowledge of physics, but also his passion for discovery, truth and wonder. Through lessons taught in classrooms and conversations shared in hallways, he shaped generations of Academy women. His dedication became a gift to this school community and a lasting part of St. Agnes Academy.

May we honor Harold’s life by continuing to seek truth, serve others generously and care deeply for those around us as he did.

From signing the senior book to receiving Dominican-style rosaries and hearing their very first chant of “seniors first,” today marked a meaningful milestone in their St. Agnes journey. Many students also received their St. Agnes Academy rings, a cherished symbol of the lifelong sisterhood shared by Academy women across generations. 💛🖤

We are so very blessed by the generations of Academy women who have walked our halls. At our Legacy Luncheon, we celebrated the alumnae mothers, grandmothers, aunts, cousins, and sisters who have helped shape the spirit of St. Agnes Academy through faith, wisdom, and Dominican values. Their examples of leadership, service, and sisterhood continue to inspire the next generation of Academy women to seek truth, lead with compassion, and live out Veritas each day.

And that’s a wrap! Campus feels a little quieter without our seniors. Friday was bittersweet as we celebrated their last day on campus and reflected on the joy, laughter, and memories they brought to our community. We can’t wait to see all of the amazing places they go and all the incredible things they do. 💛✨

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are so grateful for the incredible educators who make St. Agnes Academy so special.

Our teachers do more than teach. They inspire curiosity, nurture faith, and empower Academy women to grow in confidence, courage, and compassion each and every day. Because of them, our students are equipped not only for success in the classroom, but for lives of purpose and leadership rooted in Veritas.

Join us in celebrating and thanking the amazing teachers who shape the hearts and minds of our students.
