Pass the Plaid, IWA’s annual uniform sale, was a great success! Pass the Plaid is a long-standing tradition where IWA families are able to give back and help each other prepare for the upcoming school year. Special thanks to our Falcon Family Club for helping to organize and run this event! 👚 ❤️

IWA’s two award-winning robotics teams, Women of the Wires and Sisters of the Servos, were invited to attend Comicpalooza as representatives of FIRST in Texas! Representatives are selected from teams all over the state to help amplify the reach and impact of STEM education. ❤️
Team members Carly C. ‘28, Susie B. ‘27, Carys E. ‘27, and Fiona L. ‘27, displayed both of their robots and the joy of STEM to all of the attendees that walked by their booth! The girls met with potential sponsors, future mentors, and even taught booth visitors how to drive the robot and shoot balls into its corresponding goal! 🤖
Two robotics mentors, Ms. McCorkle and Mr. Green, also had the opportunity to speak on a panel, “Building the Future: One Robot at a Time.” They shared insights on hands-on learning, equity in STEM, and the impact of robotics education and workforce development. 🎤
This was a great opportunity for WOW and SOS to share with thousands of convention attendees about the rigorous and hands-on learning opportunities that IWA's college-preparatory classes offer—we cannot wait to continue spreading the word about the difference an IWA education can make!

Happy Pentecost! 🔥
When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim. —Acts 2:1–4

Happy last day of school! 🏫
This school year has been absolutely amazing—full of learning, memories, and moments of Sisterhood. During the End of the Year Luncheon, we celebrated another successful school year and our students’ achievements throughout the year. We also recognized Coach Rick Perez, who has been at IWA for 25 years. Fun fact: Coach Perez has been a teacher and coach at Catholic schools for 35 years total! ❤️
Have a wonderful summer, Falcons, and we will see you back in August! ☀️
