Summertime often means traveling as a family. Before you hit the airport or that crowded water park, be sure your family has a safe word in case you are separated so that kids can defend themselves against predators. Kids should also know the cell number of the responsible adult each day.

Parents should take pictures of each child before entering crowded spaces so that you are able to describe what your child is wearing if you are separated – dressing young children in BRIGHTLY colored clothes will help spot them in crowds AND in water.

Adults should turn on notifications if an unwanted tracking device has come into your digital space.
