Remember how there used to be a building over at the northeast orner of Main and Prairie? It's a parking lot now. Been that way for 30 years. Here's what used to be there. The 111-year-old Burns Building used to be home to a fraternal order on its upper floors. I can only imagine how the light used to shine through those big windows. The building was demolished 30 years ago this month. Chronicle subscribers can see more photos from back then in our monthly roundup. (Photo by the late Dave Einsel, who passed away earlier this month at the age of 63.)
