Since joining our community in 2016, Ms. Murray has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Social Sciences Department Head, Grade Level Leader, NAE EDIB Champion, and AP and IB teacher. Her dedication to academic excellence, student support, and fostering meaningful relationships has made a lasting impact on our school community.
In her new role, Ms. Murray will continue working closely with students, families, and faculty to promote instructional excellence, strengthen student support systems, and ensure every student feels empowered to achieve success beyond Village.

We are thrilled to celebrate an extraordinary achievement by Mrs. Huffman, who has been named the Middle School Coach of the Year by the National Speech & Debate Association!

This prestigious national recognition honors Mrs. Huffman’s outstanding leadership and impact in middle school speech and debate — and makes her the first coach from Texas to ever receive this award.

After also receiving the Texas Educator of the Year Award last year, this achievement is a true reflection of her passion, leadership, and dedication to empowering students through speech and debate.

Last week, we celebrated two special milestones at The Village School!

Our PK4 students shared songs they practiced throughout the year, while our Grade 4 students showcased their selected art rotations, celebrating their creativity, growth, and excitement for the next chapter ahead.

Day 1 of Junior Games 2025 was truly amazing! Nearly 600 students from 24 of our schools across the Americas gathered at Windermere Preparatory School in Orlando, Florida, to kick off a week filled with excitement, friendly competition, teamwork, and unforgettable moments.

Students from WPS gave everyone a warm welcome with an unforgettable opening ceremony, cheering on their peers and setting the tone for the days ahead.

The excitement continues to build as we head into Day 2 of JG2026!

Earth Day 2026 blossomed into a joyful week of creativity and purpose for our KG–Grade 3 students! From colorful crowns and heartfelt pledges to recycled art, kindness rock gardens, and even the launch of a student-led Nature Club -Spirit Nature Rangers -now organizing a plastic bag drive - our young learners showed that small actions can make a big impact.
