More room to play, move & grow at AES!

Our outdoor improvements continued this summer with a new putting green and a freshly leveled and re-turfed courtyard! These beautiful spaces give our students even more opportunities for outdoor play, movement, connection, and fun throughout their school day.

We are incredibly grateful to our AES families whose Annual Fund gifts helped make these improvements possible, along with the generous support of Wakasa and our partnership and grant from St. John The Divine.

It’s exciting to see our community’s generosity come to life in spaces our children get to enjoy every day!

Kindergarten had some important questions for Mrs. Day today!

As part of their unit on community, our Kindergarten students interviewed our Head of School to learn how she supports AES. They came prepared with some wonderful questions and were excellent interviewers!

Of course, the biggest discovery may have been the squishies on Mrs. Day’s desk.

✨ Our campus got a glow up! ✨

A huge thank you to our incredible AES families, church members, volunteers, and our staff for helping transform our campus this summer. From fresh mulch and refreshed garden beds to beautiful learning spaces inside and out, every project was completed with love and care.

Now that our students are back on campus, they’re learning, playing, and growing in spaces made even more beautiful because of your generosity and hard work.

Chapel is back at AES!

This week, our students learned about God’s faithfulness and His great love for us through the stories of Noah and Abraham. We talked about how God guided and protected them when He called them to do BIG things—and how we can trust Him to guide us, too.

What a beautiful way to begin our year together—growing in faith, learning to trust God, and remembering that He is always with us.
