We had our first,” Fall into Reading,” event! Read the story of the,”Ugly Pumpkin,” and painted some pumpkins with the kiddos from the Baytown Community Center. A big shout out to the Baytown Community Center, thank you for having us and letting us share our joy of having fun with literacy!

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday! I just wanted to come on here and mention that my business Bright and Blossoming has teamed up with the Baytown Community Center to host an event for their students! We will be hosting a,” Fall into Reading,” where I will be reading them a story and we will be painting mini pumpkin characters from the read aloud.

As you know my mission and goals for my business is uplifting communities through literacy and providing a reading experience from the typical classroom environment. All of my events, to workshops and pop ups come from my heart and is free to the public.

I will be accepting donations that would help fund the pumpkins and paint for the kiddos for this event. I also will be providing donation based tutoring too to help me fund this event as well! So be on the look out a for our next “Donation Saturday!”😃

An apperciation post, just before the night ends! Yesterday felt so surreal and energy was great! I am soul grateful for every individual I interacted with yesterday and for being able to provide smiles and memories of, “Young Readers HTX!" Thank you HOUSTON! God has truly blessed Bright and Blossoming and I can't wait to share my plans for the future! A big thank you to my family, I really could not do this without y'all. My sisters and , thank you for pushing me and being there to support my dreams, I love yall very much twins, I apperciate y'all soul much! to my volunteers , thank y'all for believing in my dreams, and being there for me!' and to my cousin , thank you for having faith in Bright and Blossoming and providing a beautiful space for,"Young Readers HTX!"

Tomorrow is the big day and we are so excited!”Young Readers HTX,” is a reading interactive market for kids and we will have 3 stations set up for our young readers! Young Readers HTX presents Houston local author,” Vida Pascual!” Come out on July 22nd and hear the story of ,”I Am!” A book of beautiful words of affirmations for each Young Reader to hear. 😊

Vida wrote this book for her daughter when she was 8. Her intention was to help build her confidence and to learn how to love herself. She believes that every girl is special and wonderful in her own way. Each girl deserves to learn that she holds the power to achieve her dreams.
