Straight lines get you stopped. Angles get you buckets.
Most young players think scoring means going through the defender but the real skill is learning to attack the space beside them. When you change your angle of attack with the dribble, you force the defender to shift their weight, open up driving lanes, and create separation you can actually use.
This is one of the first things we build at Hoops School. Angle attacks aren’t just a move, they’re a mindset. Read the defense. Find the gap. Go get it.
