Cowboy Calligraphy is named to honor two "cowboys" that embody the very values every company should pour into every service and customer. Cowboy Calligraphy aims to serve products that reflect diligence, integrity, wisdom, enlightenment, confidence, and zeal. Gregory E. Williams, nicknamed "Cowboy", was a school teacher who modeled "delayed gratification" for his students, peers, and everyone he encountered. All of his siblings, nieces, nephews, children, grandchildren, and grandchildren carry this torch daily in their various professions and pursuits. His great-grandchildren are preparing to do so as well. Learning to do what you have to now to enjoy what you want to do later is the very basis of success in our family. Anyone who met Gregory and smiled can attribute the qualities we miss the most to his flourishing and faith-filled foundation based in Moberly, Missouri. Sadly, Gregory lost his battle with kidney failure in October 2016. His legacy carries anyone that was in his presence forward daily. Jerold D. Evans Jr. lovingly known as "Chub" was a CDL driver born in Conroe, Texas. He was an asset in any role he filled and a blessing in any space he occupied, whether it be in the church, on the football field, or on the various highways. He was a light in any room he entered and was not too shy to share his infectious and genuine laughter with anyone who could hear. At the tender age of 24, Chub poured into people of all ages and from all different walks of life. After mastering the role of son, sibling, grandson, friend, and fiance' he became a natural at being a father. Chub was tragically killed in an 18-wheeler accident in February of 2022, leaving behind his 3-month-old daughter and many loved ones. Both of these "cowboys" are examples of what it means to genuinely seek success and to appreciate and accept what growth looks like for others regardless of their circumstances. The silence of their absences is deafening and they will be forever missed.
