Calling all young filmmakers, animators, artists, creators, and future storytellers!

Six Pixels Film & STEM Academy is offering exciting fall classes for ages 7–15, including:

Cosplay & Makeup FX, Stop Motion Animation, Robotics & Filmmaking, Youth Filmmaking, Video Editing, Movie Makers Clubs, Creative Mixer, and Teen Video Production.

Classes begin September 4 & 5!

📷 Behind the scenes look from earlier this month for one of our Six Pixels Film & STEM Academy Field trips!

We were more than happy to bring students into the studio and give them a hand-on learning experience into the world of professional filmmaking :-)

Our program focuses on championing a child's creative storytelling skills, then elevating them with technical film equipment knowlege which captures their ideas at a professional level. Our students are minds are stimulated with every type of play: physical, constructive, dramatic, sensory, and games.

By the end, our students have a fully finished mocie they can show off to friends and family!

We hope to see y'all again, keep loving film!

🎉 Exciting news! Congratulations to our nonprofit partner, Houston Kids Film Academy

We're proud to celebrate Houston Kids Film Academy for receiving a generous $5,000 grant from H-E-B Tournament of Champions in support of the When Voices Rise Summer Filmmaking Camp for youth from underserved communities.

At Six Pixels Film & STEM Academy, we're honored to partner with HKFA to help provide young filmmakers with hands-on opportunities to learn storytelling, filmmaking, and creative expression.

This incredible investment from H-E-B Tournament of Champions will help empower more students to develop new skills, build confidence, and tell stories that matter.

🎬 Behind the scenes at Main Character Summer Camp!

Today we caught up with our young filmmakers to hear all about the movies they're creating. From sharing their story ideas and showing off handmade props to filming scenes with their cast and crew, every camper is bringing their imagination to life.

At Six Pixels Film & STEM Academy, kids don't just make movies; they build confidence, work as a team, and discover the joy of telling their own stories.

Storytelling starts with a voice—and today, these young filmmakers found theirs 🎬

On Day 1 of our Main Character Camp, students created and filmed a puppet movie, stepping into the roles of writer, director, and actor.

Experiences like this build confidence, creativity, and the belief that their ideas matter.
