Did you know that today, September 6, is National "Read a Book Day"? In commemoration of this very special day, pictured here are just a very few of the many, many book loving Branch students and teachers over the past few years. Do we love to read here? Branch 7th graders recently learned how to prepare slides for viewing with a microscope. They learned about dry and wet slides, and examined several objects and substances up close. Do you remember learning how to use a microscope in school? It's fascinating!

The Branch Kindergarten class went on a bear hunt right here on our very own campus. Who knew there would be so many bears here? They even found a bear in Nurse Sandra's clinic! As far as we are concerned, more bears are a very good thing!

Branch students have made good use of the upgraded pathways on the playground! Sometimes, you will even see a student directing "traffic" when it gets busy!

Indoor recess is a must when Houston is under a heat advisory. Hopefully, cooler weather will be here soon, but until then, Branch students will still be making the most of their recess time!

Outdoor Classroom is Branch's most loved class. Students learn about the world around them, and about how these essential ecosystems operate. They gain both a love and appreciation for our environment in a very hands-on way.
