What a great evening it was to be a Spelmanite! Local Houston sisters gathered to lift up our amazingly talented Spelman sister and author Tayari Jones on the launch of her newest novel titled "Kin." Readers are in for a real treat as this book challenges how we view friendship relationships and so much more. Kudos to you, Tayari, on a job well-done! 💙

NAASC Houston participated in the Annual HHBCUAA College Fair today! We were able to share the beauty of Spelman with high school students and their families. We even had the opportunity to meet two of our newly accepted sisters who will be attending Spelman in the fall. They are our reason why. 💙💙💙

Our NAASC Houston chapter members and Spelman's Pre-Alumnae council were able to come together and fellowship at a beautiful luncheon during their recent visit to Houston for the UNCF Conference. 💙
