One of the biggest misconceptions about dyslexia is that it reflects intelligence.
Dyslexia is a language-based learning difference that affects reading and spelling, not a student’s ability to think, learn, or succeed. With the right support and evidence-based instruction, students with dyslexia can thrive. 🧠

Did you know? 🤯
Research shows that students with dyslexia often benefit from multisensory instruction–an approach that combines visual, auditory, and hands-on learning at the same time.
By engaging multiple pathways in the brain, this teaching method can support stronger reading and spelling development over time. 🧠📖

Today, we are proud to share the story of our very FIRST Dyslexia School of Houston Microschool student 🤍
When Christine and her family were searching for the right educational path for their daughter, they found themselves at a crossroads. Traditional options either weren’t the right fit for her learning needs or felt out of reach.
After learning about our new Microschool, they found something they had been missing: hope.
Stories like Gianna’s remind us why this program exists… to provide students with a supportive environment where literacy, confidence, and belonging can grow together.
We are honored to welcome Gianna and her family and cannot wait to watch her blossom over the next few years!
