Our Houston Astros won the 2022 World Series!! 🧡💙 As we follow HISD's calendar, Dyslexia School of Houston will cancel all sessions Monday, November 7 to allow our families to attend the victory parade.
We are proud to have the Houston Astros organization a partner in education and in our Houston schools! GO ASTROS! 🎉

⛳✨ This golfing superstar is thriving on the greens and in her literacy skills! Dyslexia School of Houston student, Sadie Westbrook, was recently featured AND on the cover of OTL Magazine - how incredible!
At just 12 years old, Sadie has won more than 20 Junior tournaments, often against girls much older than her. However, while she's incredible at reading the sport, traditional reading throws her for a loop and she is one of millions of children who are challenged with dyslexia. But just as she does in golf, Sadie has taken her literacy "coaching" well and progressed tremendously with her reading skills and academic self-confidence! We're so proud of Sadie and cannot wait to see where this journey takes her! Dyslexia truly is a superpower and she is rocking it. 💙

📖 On average, we can help a student decode in 12-15 weeks

🎉🎉 HUGE news, Texas!! As of 2022, Dyslexia Awareness Month is OFFICIAL in the state of Texas! Dyslexia School of Houston received a proclamation from the Texas Governor and we are so thrilled to share this news to everyone in the dyslexia community and beyond. This is a huge step in spreading awareness and advocating for individuals with dyslexia and how we could all come together to support one another!
