This past Friday August 11th 2023 The Peoples Action Houston, helped host a major event serving food and providing resources to Houston’s beloved community Wesely Square Apartments. βœŠπŸΏβ€οΈπŸ–€πŸ’šπŸ’―

We presented critical info on community conflict resolution, how to transition from public housing to home ownership or rental property, hygiene basics, and how to start a career or small business in various Information technology fields like cell phone repair, HelpDesk, Cyber security, cloud device management and more. This included HOW to get globally certified via the certification track global employers seek for their workforce.

This is a critical department amoung many other BGN departments that are building blocks to establishing positive changes within the black / melanated community of every major city. I look forward to working with the youth and others to kickstart their IT Engineering journey.

Imo, don’t buy a laptop or desktop with less than an Intel i5 CPU, SSD hard drive and adequate storage or you’ll be buying another pc 3 years later because of perceived performance issues.

Officially kicked off our first black youth education and development program (Tyehimba), which includes STEAM-T (STEM + The Arts + The Trade) IT Tech youth program yesterday lead by the Black Gold Nation. ✊🏿Shout out to Tamani Mwandani for his leadership and consistency.

The revolution and elevation of our involves DIGITAL warfare and IT EDUCATION to operate and manage drones, manage black owned , manage devices via cloud management tools like , create secure mobile apps, programmers, cyber security experts, robotics engineers, electronic engineers to make things like PC motherboards and chipsets and more.

THIS is critical path and IMPORTANT department to rebuilding in every city where black / melaninated folks are the majority.

A message to any or adults on starting an IT career or business.

You MUST have discipline and KEEP SHOWING UP even if you fail sometime along the way.
