A space for the ceramic arts. Now open and offering memberships, lessons, workshops, and drop-ins.

As two artists + educators, Jess + Abbie dreamed up a studio space for themselves, and then brought it to life through their very own, HTX Clay.

We’re proud to present a space for makers, creators, learners + educators to find community within the walls of this studio. A place to call home for all the clay mess, and a place to grow your pottery practice.

Join ceramic artist, Jessica Phillips, for an engaging artist talk and live demonstration exploring the expressive possibilities of clay.

Working from her studio practice of over two decades, Phillips creates sculptural vessels that investigate human connection, emotional tension, and the relationships between form and space.

We hope to see you there!

You’ll be throwing large amounts of clay with the guidance of Gabo Martinez!

Gabo is committed to creating safe spaces for us to explore clay and de-mystify these techniques that can often seem so complicated. She welcomes all sorts of questions and can also provide one-on-one instruction outside of class time.

We hope to see you tonight for Clay Talks!

💫 Open to All | members + non-members

We’ve refreshed this monthly gathering to feel more relaxed and approachable for everyone and calling it Clay Talks! Sometimes the word “crit” can feel a bit academic, so we’ve reimagined it as a space that feels more welcoming and accessible to all.

Bring a question, a piece, or simply come to listen and learn. See you soon!

Explore the history and philosophy of Kintsugi, and repair a piece brought from home with artist, Shang-Yi Hua 🌟

Rather than concealing the damage of your piece, participants will mend the broken pottery using Shin-Urushi lacquer with copper powder, celebrating the imperfections as part of the objects history.

Space is extremely limited, so make sure to save a seat for yourself!
