2021 has been the year that I truly listen to my needs. After moving to a new school with a new position mid 2020, I continued to feel that something was missing, something that would allow me to be creative and out of the education world. I began this charcuterie journey March 2021, finding a balance between motherhood, charcuterie and supporting my husband while he studied for the LSAT. It was busy but we were making it work. August 2021 we found out we were expecting our second baby all while my husband began his first year of law school. I seriously thought, piece of cake since it’s baby #2, but this pregnancy took a major toll on me. I had to take some time to slow down in order to give my 100%. I fulfilled a few orders here and there but I knew I could not go full speed ahead until I felt better. All that to say, I’m finally at a point where I feel more like myself and I’m glad I listened to my body to give my 100% to the growing baby inside me. I’m sure I’ll have to slow down again as my due date gets closer, but I will tackle that once I get there.
This is totally not a sad story, just my story as a mom, wife, educator, and small business owner trying to find what works best for me and my family.
Thank you to those of you who have ordered, order repeatedly, like my posts, share my products, engage on my posts and have asked me how I’m doing. I appreciate every ounce of positivity that comes my way and I only hope to return that plus more!
