We are returning with our filmmaking and film production classes in 2024 at the SAG-AFTRA signatory Next Actor Film School.

The classes will be held on Fridays June 13 - July 10 @ 7:30 pm.

The session will work with the creative and technical side of Filmmaking, dissect scripts or films you already made, shuffle editing points, structure storyboards, and work with the entire production aspect of making a film.

While in class, you should start filming your scenes to understand the concept of story to screen, using space and framing.

At the end of the class, your goal is to make your own short film, handle casting, crew call, budget, and learn from your personal experience.

Adult Beginners’ On-Camera Acting Classes in Houston, will be held every Saturday, June 7 - July 12 @ 2 - 4 pm for five weeks. (Closed July 6)
This class is for students with little to no training. 

Students work on-camera with scenes and monologues to build confidence and comfort with the camera, learning technical aspects of acting and finding their tools to memorize and emote, with the help of the Stanislavski Method.

Students with stage experience will learn the difference of the two media. 

It’s a great class for anyone wanting to get into film and TV acting, as well as for public speaking.

You can now watch our thriller 6 Rounds of Chloe completely free at Fawesome TV. The film is a dark drama about 11 year old Chloe, played by alum Alexandra Goel, who is caught in a custody battle between her single mother and absentee father. Shot in Houston, the film stars two times Oscar nominated actor Eric Roberts, alongside the phenomenal Kamala Lopez, and Jana Lee Hamblin. Several of our alum also debuted in this feature.
