Not supposed to be working today.
But I woke up at midnight, saw a few important emails and appointments that needed to be set, so I still logged in and did what I could.

Not because I had to.
But because this is the kind of care I put into my work.

And sometimes, when people ask why they get replaced, let go, or dropped by a client, the answer is not always about skill alone.

Sometimes it is about effort.
Sometimes it is about ownership.
Sometimes it is about how much you truly care when no one is reminding you to care.

The truth is, clients notice the small things.
They notice who follows through.
They notice who pays attention.
They notice who treats the work like a responsibility and not just a task.

I am not saying we should overwork ourselves.
Rest is important too.

But in any role, there is always a difference between someone who only works when told and someone who genuinely takes pride in what they do.

That quiet extra effort matters.
That kind of heart matters.

And maybe that is also the reminder today.

If you want to become valuable, do not just ask how to get hired.
