Congratulations to the Riverwood Middle School First Year Orchestra on earning a SUPERIOR rating at the Beginning Orchestra Festival! 🎻🎶

We are incredibly proud of these students and all of the hard work, dedication, and growth they have shown throughout their very first year in orchestra. From learning how to hold an instrument for the first time to performing on stage with confidence and musicianship, this group has accomplished something truly special.

This achievement is a reflection of countless hours of practice, focus during rehearsals, support from families, and the determination these students bring each and every day. Their performance represented Riverwood with excellence, and we could not be more proud of what they achieved together!

What a Great Night at the Zone Concert! 🎶

We are so proud of our Riverwood Middle School Orchestra students for their outstanding performance at this year’s Zone Concert! Our students represented RMS with confidence, focus, and beautiful musicianship alongside Creekwood Middle School and Kingwood High School.

A special thank you to Humble ISD leaders Dr. Brown, Mr. Silva, Mr. Bodron, and Mr. Scarfo, along with our amazing RMS administrators Mr. Young and Mr. Roser, for their continued support of our Fine Arts programs and our students. Your encouragement makes opportunities like this possible.

RMS Orchestra Solo & Ensemble Success! 🎻

We are incredibly proud of our RMS Orchestra students and their hard work at Solo & Ensemble!

First Year Orchestra (FYO):
Out of 38 events, 31 earned Division 1 (Superior) ratings and 7 earned Division 2 (Excellent) ratings.

Upper Orchestras:
Out of 72 events, 57 earned Division 1 (Superior) ratings and 15 earned Division 2 (Excellent) ratings.

These results reflect the dedication, preparation, and musicianship our students have shown all year. We are so proud of each and every performer! 🎶👏

Congratulations to our Chamber Orchestra for earning all 1s and Sweepstakes, and congratulations to our Symphony Orchestra for earning an Excellent (2) rating an achievements that reflect the dedication, progress, and pride both groups have poured into their music this year. We are so proud of you all!

Both ensembles represented RMS Orchestra with focus, professionalism, and heart. We celebrate the growth, commitment, and musical excellence shown by every student, and we are proud of how each group rose to the challenge and performed with confidence.

UIL is about growth, teamwork, and giving your best, and both orchestras truly embodied that spirit. Thank you to our students for your hard work and to our families for your continued support of RMS Orchestra.

What an amazing way to wrap up the semester as we head into Winter Break! ❄️🎶

Our RMS Orchestra students did a fantastic job at the Winter Concert. Their growth and hard work truly shined on stage. I was so in the moment I forgot to take pictures, but the music said it all!

We also loved sharing music on our winter elementary tour with band and choir, performing at the Humble ISD Administration Building, and celebrating together at our Winter Social at Main Event.

So thankful for our students, families, and supporters. So proud of this orchestra family and so excited for what’s ahead in the spring!

Our Winter Concert is this Friday, December 12 in the RMS Gym from 6:30 to 8:00 pm! Come enjoy an evening of music from all of our Riverwood MS Orchestra ensembles as we celebrate the season together.

We had such a wonderful Orchgiving celebration today. Thank you to all of our amazing parents and students who brought food and helped make this event special. Here are some of the pictures!

Today, our Band, Choir, and Orchestra at Riverwood came together to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. Through music, we celebrated their courage, sacrifice, and love for our nation. 🎵❤️💙

It was such a powerful and moving ceremony filled with heartfelt performances, unity, and pride. A huge thank-you to all our veterans for your service, our students for their hard work and preparation, and to everyone who helped make today’s event so special!
