What is Satisfactory Academic Progress?

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is designed to define successful completion of class work toward an approved degree to maintain eligibility for student financial aid.

To remain eligible to receive state and federal funds, as well as Federal Stafford and PLUS loans, students must:

• Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA).
• Successfully complete 67% of all credit hours attempted for their degree-seeking program.
• Complete their program within the time limit for receiving aid.

Remember Tigers! You need to complete the FAFSA form for each year you’ll be in school. Visit www.fafsa.gov to submit your 2022-2023 FAFSA application.
