Museums Advocacy Day: Using Our Voice to Speak Up for Museums 02/27/2023

πŸŽ‰ Today is MUSEUMS ADVOCACY DAY! πŸŽ‰What does that mean?

It is a designated day to express thanks for the arts and culture institutions that contribute positively to your community. πŸ› These museums are working hard to be respectful, responsible societal partners and leaders. They care for our cultural heritage while promoting health and social well-being. They contribute to education beyond the classroom 🚌 and act as welcoming community spaces.

However, these places are impacted greatly by government decisions around funding and policies. Today, you can help by reaching out to your local legislator to share with them the importance of museums within your community! ❀️
