We are a non-profit organization that is fighting to end human trafficking through preventing exploitation, educating the community, and empowering survivors.

We fight so all may live free! https://linktr.ee/united.againsthumantrafficking We aspire for all people to experience freedom and to live beyond bondage to others. We envision a world made up of communities, businesses, faith-based organizations, and governments who are intolerant of consumers and purveyors of human trafficking and actively support the victims until they are restored to freedom.

Human trafficking is often hidden in plain sight, and healthcare professionals are uniquely positioned to recognize the signs and connect individuals to help.

Join our CEO, Timeka Walker, at the Healthcare Leadership Quorum Texas on June 11 as she joins a panel discussion on the intersection of human trafficking and healthcare.

Together, we can strengthen awareness, response, and support for those impacted by exploitation.

LGBTQ+ individuals can face higher risks of exploitation and trafficking due to rejection, housing instability, discrimination, and lack of support systems.

Prevention work must create spaces where people feel seen, respected, and safe asking for help. Everyone deserves support without judgment. At United Against Human Trafficking, when we say "we fight so that all may live free" we truly mean ALL.

People navigating immigration systems can face increased vulnerability to exploitation, especially when access to resources and support feels limited or unsafe.

Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and to have access to help without fear. Prevention means building systems that protect people, not isolate them.

After completing SSE, one participant shared that he better understands the line between masculinity and toxic masculinity. He also said he wants to be part of the solution and talk with other men about how harmful behaviors can contribute to exploitation.

SSE creates space for reflection, accountability, and change.

Trafficking doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s shaped by systems, beliefs, and everyday decisions.

Prevention means looking at our role in that, whether big or small, and choosing to do better. UAHT’s work is rooted in that kind of reflection and change.

One SSE participant shared that this class pushed him to take a hard look at himself and choose a different path forward.

Real change doesn’t happen overnight. It starts with accountability, reflection, and the willingness to do better. Thats why we invest 8 weeks into SSE participants lives.

This is the work that ends trafficking and we can't do it without your support, visit the link in our bio to support.

Last week, members of our team attended the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC 2026) at NRG Stadium, where they connected with attendees and raised awareness about human trafficking in the Greater Houston area.

We remain committed to showing up in our communities, using every opportunity to educate, engage, and take action in the fight to end trafficking.
