Happy Para Appreciation Day!! I truly would not be able to do what I do without this amazing woman by my side. She has been my co-person for the past year and a half. Letting me use her clean desk for stuff when mine is messy (which is always), reminding me when it’s library day, being the tye-dye queen, having fun with the kids, running the program when I’m sick, being a sound board when I need help wording things, just letting me vent, always showing up and showing out for our kids, telling me all the kids’ chisme you over hear in classes, and so much more. I couldn’t do it without you and the students would not succeed the way they do without you. You are so so appreciated and I’m sorry McDonalds gave us unsweetened teas; I really was trying to buy you a sweet treat for today 😂😅

Space Center Houston field trip to hear from Heather Paul for Women in STEM Wednesday!!

Just realized I never posted our Halloween activity from….a month ago 🤦🏻‍♀️. We did an informational reading on the history of jack-o’-lanterns and then a sequential writing activity after carving our class jack-o’-lantern. (The students just did the seed removal and drew the face on the pumpkin, teacher did the carving)

Grateful for All Star Admin who made it possible to get a tour of Minute Maid Park today! We got to visit the press box, suites, and even get on the field! What an AMAZING experience! Best Back to School Team Building Ever!!
