For most parents they wouldn’t even think twice,
they just do what they need to do,

There’s Deadbeats that up & Left they kids
Criminals that are doing a bid
Drug addicts who can’t remember what they did,
Parents that cheated on each other,
Then ran away with their lover & hid from their kids!
Gamblers who gambled they Life away,
Then packed up their things & Run away
Might Visit every other weekend
But never stay...
or even care if their kids are okay!

There’s some more types that I forgot to mention,
But understand that Leaving your kids
is giving them a LIFE SENTENCE
Giving them a Life of uncertainty & pain,
Treating their little lives
Like it’s a game,
Some kids cut themselves
To deal with the pain
Some kids commit Su***de
Because they feel like they got nothing to gain
It drives some crazy,
Sends them insane,
Looking for likes on social media
Attention
& internet fame,
It’s a damn shame
Kids will do anything, even show they skin & Sin,
So strangers online might remember their name.

So I give credit & proper respect
to the Mom’s & Dads that never neglect
To single parents raising their kids with no regrets,
& Single parents never late with their child support checks,
For Parents that will do anything to see their children succeed,
To parents that will work hard to fulfil their kids every need,
Parents who go without, because they got little hungry mouths to feed...

I’m fixin to say a prayer for all of y’all,
That when y’all hit that wall,
You never fall,
But instead renew your strength
& receive a blessing,
Sometimes life can be testing
You Keep it trill & just believe
that your destiny is manifesting,
You reap what you sow,
All your hard work shows
And you are appreciated
Even though sometimes it gets tough
& you hate it...
One day you’ll be proud when your child says
“Thanks to you I made it!”

So remember those words that Tupac Shakur said,
Just Keep your head up,
