☀️💦 Whew… it was SOOO HOT today! 💦☀️

Today’s heat had us at The ROCK Early Learning Center reminiscing about last week’s Splash Day! Our children had the BEST time cooling off, splashing around, and making summer memories with their friends! 💙🌊

With these Texas temperatures, we want to remind families to keep your little ones cool, comfortable, and hydrated. Please encourage plenty of water before and after school, dress children in cool and comfortable clothing, and never leave children unattended in a vehicle—even for a short time. 🧊💧

Yesterday, we begin a brand-new school year on, we are praying for an amazing, successful, and blessed year for every child and family at The ROCK Early Learning Center! 💜

We pray that our children will learn, grow, build confidence, make new friends, and discover just how much they are capable of. We also pray for our teachers and families as we partner together to make this school year one to remember.

Our The ROCK Early Learning Center Summer Camp kids had an amazing field trip to the McGovern-Stella Link Neighborhood Library! During a hands-on STEAM activity, our campers explored building and engineering with LEGOs while using creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. 🧠🔧

They learned new things, built some awesome creations, and were SO excited to put their ideas to work! 💡🙌🏽

Our ROCK Early Learning Center Summer Camp students had an unforgettable educational adventure aboard the Sam Houston Boat Tour at the Port of Houston! 🚢⚓

Our campers explored one of the busiest ports in the nation while learning how ships transport cargo from around the world, how the Port of Houston supports our local economy, and the many careers that keep global trade moving. It was a hands-on learning experience that brought geography, history, science, and commerce to life!

At The ROCK Early Learning Center, we believe the best learning happens both inside and outside the classroom. Every field trip is an opportunity to spark curiosity, build knowledge, and inspire our future leaders.
