B-I-N-G-O, back to school we go! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who spent their Sunday afternoon with us at our annual Back-to-School Bingo! It was a winning way to kick off another school year with new and returning Raiders, plenty of prizes, and even more fun.

Special thanks to our parent volunteers and this year’s Back-to-School Bingo Chairs, Riley Landry and Aurelia Largo, for their time and dedication in making this year’s event so special for our ROBS community!

It has been an honor to host students from schools across Chiba City, Japan, on our campus over the past few days through our partnership with JapanAmerica Houston! 🇯🇵🇺🇸

This special youth ambassador program gives students from Houston’s sister city, Chiba City, the opportunity to experience life at ROBS—from participating in classroom activities and learning alongside our Raiders to exploring the city of Houston. In return, our Middle School students have the opportunity to apply to travel to Chiba City and experience school and daily life in Japan!

A special thank you to our ROBS families who opened their homes to host our Chiba City youth ambassadors and helped make their time in Houston so memorable.

Please join us in praying for safe travels as our new friends return to Japan tomorrow. Come back and visit us soon!

The magic of Pete the Cat! ✨📖

Kindergarteners kicked off the school year with a special scavenger hunt around campus in search of Pete the Cat! Along the way, students followed clues while learning about important places on campus and meeting the people who make each space special.

The adventure ended with a surprise note from Pete himself, a trail of glitter, and a little extra appreciation for the magic of reading!

Parents of students in grades 1–8 are invited to join us for Opening Chapel on Wednesday, August 26, as Mrs. DeSpain shares how this year’s theme will encourage us to shine, live, and lead as lights for Christ.

Our campus was full of excitement today as Raiders new and returning Raiders stopped by to get ready for the 2026-27 school year.

Backpacks packed, classrooms ready, and only ONE more sleep to go! We can’t wait to see our hallways come to life tomorrow morning. See you soon, Raiders!

One week.

One week until new hallways, new classrooms, new friendships, and another year of becoming who God has called each of us to be.

Before they walked across the stage to become ROBS alumni, the Class of 2026 reflected on what ROBS has meant to them through a poem woven together from their own words. Their reflections remind us that ROBS is more than a school-it's a family that shapes hearts, builds lifelong friendships, and points students toward Christ.

As we prepare to welcome both new and returning Raiders next Wednesday, we hope our ROBS families carry these words with them as they discover what makes ROBS such a special place.

With their very own Jesus Calling books in hand, our 4th graders marked an exciting milestone in their ROBS journey as they prepare to step into Middle School next year. ❤️

We are so proud of all they have accomplished in Lower School and cannot wait to watch them continue to grow in faith, learning, and leadership in the years ahead!
